Administrative Information Systems

Administrative Information Systems provides programming and technical support services for the University's administrative departments. We support various 会计, 业务, 人力资源, 停车, 工资, physical plant and student affairs functions. The AIS staff collaborates with campus and hospital users in the development of systems for accessing our administrative databases. This group also develops and supports interfaces to the systems provided by SUNY's Central. Administrative Information Systems is divided into 3 sub departments:

  • Administrative 应用程序 is responsible for information 技术 that supports core hospital and college 业务 functions such as 人力资源s, 工资, 停车, 会计, 公共安全, 招生, 金融 aid and registration. Administrative 应用程序 writes and maintains multiple bi-directional system interfaces to and from the Human Resources database. These interfaces include passing data to and from NYS Agencies such as: SUNY Central and the Office of the State Comptroller.
  • 决策支持 provides hospital departments with the tools, 技术, and applications to access clinical, 金融, and administrative information on a timely basis. The development of an enterprise data repository makes information available to support the hospital's critical planning, 管理, and decision-making activities. 决策支持 programmers and analysts assist departmental users in determining the information necessary to satisfy specific 业务 requirements and reporting needs.
  • Web应用程序 is responsible for Self-Serve and all of its 100+ applications and 3,000+ reports. The Web应用程序 team assists departmental users in defining and building solutions to make process improvements and applications that provide 业务 areas with the tools and information they need to do their jobs.
